The Power of Meditation

The Power of Meditation is a 10 day course where you will be introduce to a daily meditation routine.

Each day you will learn an ancient techniques and how to apply them during your day. I encourage you to do it with me at the beginning of every day and explore with them in different situations of your day. All this techniques will help you overcome the chit chat of the mind and center your being into stillness and silence.You will be supported in our active meditation chat group.

SCANNING

Day 1

On our first day, you will learn how to communicate with your body. We put much emphasis on how we communicate to the world and now its time do it with yourself. Body scanning is the language to communicate with your body. It should be done gently. Watching, gentle, non- judgmental .. just watching. In this class you will learn how to do it, the different options you can use and we will finalize with a guide scan.  

 

SHAKING

Day 2

In our second day we will practice Shaking Meditation. Shaking is part of Osho Kundalini Meditation. A very powerful meditation. Through the shaking the body-mind-spirit joins and then suddenly it happens, all thinking stop. Meditation happens! This technique will help your release tension and waking up the body. The goal of this technique is to melt away old and fixed habits and prepare you for the new.

 

SOUND HEALING

Day 3

We begin this session with using what its always available to you; sounds.You can listen to any sound and make it medicine for your body. Sound has the abilities to influence our bodies. You will learn how to become the center of any sound and use it for your meditation. Allow the sounds to go inside…vibrate with it!

 

HUMMING

Day 4

In todays session you will learn how to apply this powerful ancient tool; humming. When you start humming, you start resounding inside, the body starts responding. The mind will follow the sound, the body will follow the mind and for the first time the body and the mind are both together in one direction. When body and mind are both together, you are free from the body and the mind. Then you can become the witness! Then meditation happens. 

 

GIVING & RECEIVING

Day 5

In day 5 we connect and balance our heart with two things we often do; Giving/ Receiving. You will learn an exercise to balance this two powerful actions very present in our lives.  Balancing our heart center and its connection to the energy of giving and receiving. I will guide your to this exercise as slow as you can and then this tool will be yours forever to practice. 

 

THE ART OF BREATHING

Day 6

Breathing is the mechanism of life, and life is deeply related with breathing.  Your life is your breath. In this session we will bring attention to this mechanic event that happens in our bodies and you will learn how to use your breath to control emotions. 

 

CLEANING THE EYES

Day 7

For this session you will need a candle. You do not need to be in the dark but you will need to be in your meditation space where there are no distractions. This technique is a simple way to experience glimpses of mindless and it will help to calm the nerve system. 

 

THE EMPTINESS OF THE SKY

Day 8

In this session I invite your to do it outdoors with me and then practice it in your own. We will look together to the empty sky without thinking, describing or judging … simply looking.  With this technique you will feel that everything has disappeared; there is nothing and in that disappearance you will become aware of yourself. Looking into that emptiness, you will become empty too. Looking into the emptiness, there is nothing to be reflected – or only the blue infinite sky.

 

FOCUS ON YOUR TONGUE

Day 9

This technique is concerned with focusing on the tongue, in the middle of the tongue .Thinking is talking within. In this session you will bring awareness to a point in the tongue that control your thoughts. 

 

STOP

Day 10

As we bring this course to a close we will do a recap of all the different techniques learned and add a new one,  that will put you directly to the center of your being.You will be able to look back and integrate all these meditation techniques in you day to day. 

 

Aquarius

Jan 20 - Feb 18
You may end up in some arguments, Aquarius. Your nature is expansive and generous, but if others take advantage of this good nature, your mood quickly turns to anger and detachment. Conflict is often a natural part of a relationship. Use it as a learning experience instead of blowing it out of proportion and turning it into a larger issue than it needs to be.

Pisces

Feb 19 - Mar 20
You may be confused about asking for help, Pisces. Your usual resources could be occupied with issues and conflicts that have nothing to do with you. You may then offer to help others. By doing this, you’ve put someone else’s needs above your own. Although this may feel good to you on some level, it’s also a way to avoid the problems that you need to deal with.
